Located in the sunny Ocean Beach, San Francisco, Caffe Latte and Covet House's new residential project, designed by Valery Zhavruk, is a veritable palette of emotions and colors based on the unmistakable contemporary modern style.
The presence of wood is even more evident in the dining room, where the Ezra Dining Table by Essential Home and the Panna Dining Chair from Caffe Latte contrast between mid-century and modern design. The same happens with the secondary pieces, such as the vintage Coltrane Suspension Lamp by Delightfull, or the contemporary Canephora set of mirrors, from Caffe Latte.
An espresso con Panna means an expresso with cream which is the perfect correlation to the mix of colors and materials present in the Panna Dining Chair. The connection of the walnut arm into two legs with the details of stainless steel dark bronze varnish in the third leg elevates a simple chair into a statement piece both in comfort and design.
Ezra Dining Table might be one of the most unique pieces in Studiopepe’s collection for Essential Home. Inspired by the beautiful architectural lines of the iconic Italian scenario, the mid-century modern dining table was drawn from a combination of straight lines and circumferences, redefining the limits of physics and opening the world’s design horizon.
Though widely known as Coffea robusta, the plant is scientifically identified as Coffea canephora, from which the name of the Canephora three-set mirror is taken. The mirror borrows inspiration not only from the name but from the organic shapes of the coffee beans produced by this plant as well. A set composed of different-sized mirrors, with forms resembling three coffee beans made with extremely high-quality handcrafted techniques, with a reflecting surface enclosed by an exquisite aged brass frame.
Coltrane Suspension Lamp is a lamp with a minimalist and industrial feeling to it, it is not, however, hard to understand where the mid-century inspiration lies. This lamp is a simple suspended ceiling light, which is handmade in steel.
